A
A traditional family owned Service Company with over 3,600 employees was deeply in debt, part of which was overdue, and running at an operating loss. In addition, the employees were discouraged, businesses and products were running at a loss and there was little synergy between the businesses.
G&A completed a Strategic-Operational Diagnostic and, after the shareholders approved a macro action plan, we coordinated the restructuring process, in close collaboration with the company's executives.
14 months later the company recorded a significant increase in EBITDA, a major cut in costs and overheads, had turned around businesses and units running at a loss, and had completely restructured its debt, with longer maturity terms and reduced spreads. The company's contribution margin increased by 3.6%.
