Case B

The client was leading manufacturing industry, with some 3,800 employees and three plants, controlled by a financial institution. The company had a 10-year history of losses, half its annual revenue was committed to bank debt, suppliers, customers and employees were discouraged and creditors had lost faith. Galeazzi & Associados was brought in to remedy the situation.

Our work focused on bringing the company's cost structure in line and streamlining the portfolio, by changing the market focus. This resulted in higher sales and significant improvement in productivity.

The major achievements were a marked increase in net sales (9.8%), a major reduction in personnel and expenses (24%), and a 44.3% increase in productivity.
